Mock Test for College Entrance Exam to be Held Thursday

The first official mock test for this year's college entrance examination will be held on Thursday from 8:40 a.m.

The Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation said more than 675-thousand people who are preparing for this year's state-administered College Scholastic Ability Test will take the mock exam at two-thousand-100 high schools and 270 private institutions nationwide.

This is the first of two official mock exams that are intended to help college hopefuls see how well they are prepared for this year's College Scholastic Ability Test on November eighth.

The institute said that 70 percent of the questions in the mock test will be similar to those in CSAT prep lectures aired by the Educational Broadcasting System (EBS).
