Momoland to Star in MBC "The Golden Spoon"

Momoland singer Yeonwoo will appear in "The Golden Spoon".

Yeonwoo's agency said on the 19th, "Yeonwoo has confirmed her appearance in MBC's new drama "The Golden Spoon" scheduled to air in 2022".

"The Golden Spoon" is based on Naver Webtoon of the same name. It is an adventure of a boy who stumbles across a magical golden spoon that allows him to switch with the rich parents of another boy. The drama throws the question if it's possible to change money and family and which of the two could be close to happiness.

Yeonwoo will play the role of Oh Yeo-jin, who grew up in a wealthy house and has a bold personality.

"The Golden Spoon" is directed Song Hyeon-wook and written by writers Yoon Eun-kyung and Kim Eun-hee.

Yeonwoo previously played in "Alice", "Live On" and "Dali and Cocky Prince". "The Golden Spoon" is scheduled to air in the second half of 2022.
