Moon Yeong-nam and Jin Hyeong-wook to Work With "Red Balloon"

Writer Moon Yeong-nam will make a comeback with the new weekend drama "Red Balloon" of TV CHOSUN.

TV CHOSUN's new weekend mini-series "Red Balloon" which will be broadcast in December, tells a close and warm story of us struggling to soothe our thirst.

"Red Balloon" is the fourth work which writer Moon Yeong-nam and director Jin Hyeong-wook drew super-beat ratings for three consecutive times, including "Three Brothers", "The Wang Family", and "Liver or Die".

The main characters are Seo Ji-hye, Lee Sung-jae, Hong Soo-hyun, and Lee Sang-woo.

Seo Ji-hye plays Jo Eun-gang, who wants to be a teacher, but fails the appointment exam every time and works as a tutor.

Lee Sung-jae plays the role of Ji Nam-cheol, the brother-in-law of Go Cha-won (Lee Sang-woo), who was born as the eldest son of a poor family and enters his in-laws' house..

Hong Soo-hyun will play the role of Han Ba-da, a jewelry designer with a colorful appearance and a speedy and cheerful personality.

Lee Sang-woo visits the small screen as Go Nam-cheol, the husband of Han Ba-da (Hong Soo-hyun) and a dermatologist.

"Red Balloon" is scheduled to premiere in December 2022.
