Movie Releases This Week

Time now to check movies in cinemas.
There are two Korean movies getting attention this week: a drama and a romantic comedy.
There is also a Hollywood action thriller based on a novel.
Lee Jeewon has details.
The first love and its tragic consequence.
This theme has been dealt with for ages in movies and literature even before Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
A new movie by director _Kwak_Gyeong-taek is about main character Chae Inho's unceasing love for his elementary school sweetheart Miju.
But when they meet again as adults, the two are stuck in a situation where they can't be together.
Despite the mushy nature of the theme, the movie displays many elements of machismo and violence.

The scariest transformation since the Hulk is how movie marketers dub the film "2 Faces of My Girlfriend".
When Gu Chang meets a girl named Ani for the first time, he thinks she is the sweetest.
But he realizes she has multiple personalities and later finds out that Ani is not even her real name.
The film stars two well-known Korean actors: Bong Tae-gyu and Jung Ryeo-won.

Last on our list is a Hollywood action thriller "The Invasion".
The movie stars Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig.
Based on a novel titled "The Body Snatchers", the movie portrays how a mysterious substance from the outer space spreads an epidemic.
As it attacks people in their sleep, the main character played by Kidman tries to stay awake as long as possible to find and protect her son.
Despite the A-list cast, however, the movie fails to depict at least one detail correctly.
Viewers can try to find this mistake that science experts say they have spotted in the props.
