Shanghai Becomes Stage for 'Feel Korea, K-Pop Night & K-Fashion Show' on the 24th-25th
Cultural Exchanges and Mutual Understanding between Korea & China to Commemorate 2010-2012 Korea-China Cultural Exchange Shanghai will stage Korea's most representative contents including pop music and fashion.

This stage will be a festival where participants and the audience of both countries can have better understanding of each other's culture.

'Feel Korea, K-POP Night & K-Fashion Show', hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea (Minister Yu In-chon) and organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency (President & CEO Lee Jae-woong), will be held on November 24-25 in Shanghai, China.

The 'K-Fashion Show' will be held at the Longemont Hotel in Shanghai, China on November 24 at 5pm (local time). Designers will show their unique line of clothes made using Korea's representative contents and eco-friendly materials.

Directed by President Toh, Shinwoo of Model Center International, the fashion show will display for 4 hours clothing of Korean designers, art directors and character designers who plan to enter the Chinese market.

Part 1 of the fashion show will show the costumes of 4 stars of the Korean drama 'Boys over Flowers' made by art director Jeong Hyeok, and clothes designed using the Korean character Pucca by designer Kwak Hyun-joo.

The second part of the show will show products made using eco-friendly materials. On display will be the clothes of designer Han Song who used Hanji (Korean traditional paper) and natural dyeing, designer Lee A-seong who used fabric made of milk, and designer Park Jong-chul who used natural fabric of ramie and hemp.

Chinese singer Qiwei will pose as a model for this fashion show and act as a liaison for the cultural exchange of Korea and China. 300 VIPs, including government officials, fashion industry personnel, press, and entertainers of both countries will attend this fashion show, which is held to promote the exchange of the fashion industry between the two countries.

The 'Feel Korea, K-POP Night' will be held on November 25 at 7pm (local time). Singers representing Korea and China will take part at the concert.

8 Korean singers well-known in China – 2AM, 2PM, U-Kiss, 4MINUTE, Realslow, Jang Nara and a rising star F(x) will sing at the showcase. The showcase will be broadcast live all around China by the Shanghai Broadcasting Station. SBS of Korea will broadcast a recorded version of the showcase.

After the first half of the concert, JAISON COUTURE, EXR, Monte Milano will show their clothing in a mini fashion show.

Prior to the showcase on the 25th, the '2010-2012 Visit Korea and China' commemoration event will be held. This event, in the form of a mini talk-show, will introduce the Shanghai Expo, Hallyu Festival, International Food Festival, Korea Grand Sale, and Yeosu Expo which will be held during the '2010-2012 Visit Korea and China.

' Lee Charm, CEO of the Korea Tourism Organization, Korean singer Jang Nara, and Chinese signer Qiwei will talk about Korea, attractiveness of travelling Korea and the Korean cuisine during the talk show.

This event is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea, organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency, Visit Korea Committee (Chairman Sin Dong-bin) and the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange (Chairman Younghoon David Kim), and sponsored by the Korean Cultural Service, Shanghai, the Korea Tourism Organization, Shanghai SMG-CJ Home Shopping, Asiana Airlines, Korean Air and Lotte Hotel.
