"My Boss, My Lady" Tastes Pre-Broadcast Success

The cable station, OCN, has sold the viewing rights for the comical 6-part drama "My Boss, My Lady" to Japan before its first broadcast in Korea.

It was revealed that OCN sold all the viewing rights to "Across", a Japanese drama distribution company, including TV broadcasting and VOD rights.

"This is the first time that a cable TV-produced drama has ever been exported overseas before it has gone on-air", said an OCN representative.

Starring Park Ye-jin, Jung Si-a and Kim Mi-ryeo, "My Boss, My Lady" is a female version of the movie "My Boss, My Hero", and the first episode is set to air on September 19th.

"'My Boss, My Hero' was adapted into a Japanese version by Japan's NTV, and it received a great deal of interest", said Across. They added that they were looking forward to an equally enthusiastic response for "My Boss, My Lady".
