"Mystic Pop-Up Bar" Releases Posters of Hwang Jung-eum, Yook Sung-jae and Choi Won-young

The new jTBC drama "Mystic Pop-Up Bar" released character posters of Hwang Jung-eum, Yook Sung-jae and Choi Won-young. The three characters are preparing to open for business and greet the 'bottoms' in human relationships.

"Mystic Pop-Up Bar" is a counseling drama about a bad-tempered owner lady and her innocent part-time worker who resolve the grudges of customers in their dreams. In the 4 different posters released on the 6th are dream-consultant Wol-joo (Hwang Jung-eum), drunk-talker Han Kang-bae (Yook Sung-jae) and multi-problem-solver Chief Gwi (Choi Won-young).

First of all, Wol-joo is the owner lady who is holding up a spatula in the first poster. She is a 'dream-consultant' who goes into her customers' dreams and takes care of their grudges. She is the go-to person for problem-solving as she's got 500 years of experience in counseling as well as amazing cooking skills for food to pair with drinks.

Han Kang-bae (Yook Sung-jae), who is moving boxes in an apron in the picture, is most wanted when one is in need of someone to talk to when drunk. He's got special powers to make anyone he touches talk to him about their secrets. Sometimes he has to handle 'Too Much Information', but drunk-talker Kang-bae plans on working at Mystic Pop-Up Bar to improve his constitution.

Then there's Chief Gwi (Choi Won-young) in his determined look and dynamic pose, holding skewers in his hands. There's no one like Chief Gwi when it comes to the Mystic Pop-Up Bar's best interests. The former chief detective from the other world was appointed to Mystic Pop-Up Bar to take care of Wol-joo's performance, but in reality, he does work such as peeling onions, garlic and skewing fish cakes. He's always there if something happens within the pub.

Under the motto 'Mystic Pop-Up Bar is the place to be when you're the 'bottom' in a relationship', Mystic Pop-Up Bar is run on plastic drink boxes used as chairs and tables. It is definitely a special place for people who can forget their realities even just for a little while.

The production explained, "Wol-joo, Kang-bae and Chief Gwi are out with posters. Mystic Pop-Up Bar is an important character and place too, hence the poster for the pub alone. Each word of "Mystic Pop-Up Bar" is hidden in there".

"Mystic Pop-Up Bar" is based on Bae Hye-soo's original webtoon of the same name, which won the 2017 Korean Comic Contest, and it is being helmed by PD Jeon Chang-geun.

"Mystic Pop-Up Bar" begins on the 20th of May.
