SBS's new drama "Cheer Up" is a story of young people gathered in a university cheering squad that is failing, leaving behind its brilliant history. It advocates a hot and cool campus mystery romantic comedy. It depicts the excitement of the first love and the joy of cheerleading against the backdrop of Yeonhee University's cheering squad.

Soo-il, played by Nam Joong-gyu in the drama, is a senior to the main characters Do Hae-i (Han Ji-hyun) and Park Jeong-woo (Bae In-hyuk) and the former vice president of the school's cheering squad 'Tea'. With his specialty in acrobatic and vocal skills, he will show off his skills as a versatile rookie through this work.
