Namkoong Min is coming back for the first time in a year with "City Conquest".

Last year's MBC "Can You Hear my Heart?" being his last piece of work, Nam is has been cast for the recent drama "City Conquest".

"City Conquest" has been dramatized from Sin Hyeong-bin's original comic that sold over a thousand copies. The drama is about the main character who resents his father for abandoning him and his mother when he was young and takes revenge on the evil of society.

Kim Hyun-joong has been cast for the role of Baek Mir and the drama is produced by Yang Yoon-ho and written by Hwang Joo-ha.

Namkoong Min takes on the role of Cha Ji-ryong who conflicts between hate and ambition after losing his mother due to his father but is ever so caring in front of the female who reminds him of his mother.

Despite the fact that "City Conquest" is yet to film, pre-sales have occurred in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other countries for a total of 11.8 billion won. The first shooting will take place in July and will be released at the end of the year.
