Netizens charged with faking naked pictures of celebrities

Popular girl groups typically include teenage members, but that fact did not stop some people from sexualizing them by fabricating nude photographs of them.
Prosecution in Suwon announced Monday that it is investigating 92 netizens who have been charged with violating Iternet laws.
They are accused of posting fabricated pictures of naked bodies with girl group members' faces pasted on top.
Prosecution said that it indicted the netizens after the girl group's agency filed a complaint about the photographs.
"We are investigating the netizens' records. We expect to decide whether to charge them or not by early next month", an investigator said.

인기 걸그룹 멤버들의 합성 나체 사진을 인터넷에 유포한 네티즌들이 수사기관에 무더기 적발됐다.
수원지검은 정보통신망이용촉진 및 정보보호법 위반 등의 혐의로 입건된 유모(18)양 등 92명에 대한 사건 기록을 경찰로부터 송치받아 보강 수사를 벌이고 있다고 28일 밝혔다. 이 중 75명은 19세 미만 미성년자들이다.
앞서 경기 용인경찰서는 지난달 초 해당 걸그룹의 소속사로부터 고소장을 접수받아 수사에 나서 이들을 적발했으며 이달 초 불구속 기소 의견으로 검찰에 송치했다.
검찰에 따르면 유양 등은 인터넷 파일공유 사이트에 이들 걸그룹 멤버의 얼굴과 다른 여성의 나체가 합성된 사진 수십∼수백장을 불법 게시한 혐의를 받고 있다.
검찰 관계자는 "사건 기록을 검토 중"이라며 "빠르면 이번 달 말, 늦어도 다음달 초쯤에는 사법처리 여부를 결정할 것"이라고 말했다.
