◇ Competition between rookie writers, "Into The Ring" VS "She Knows Everything"

Competition for Wednesday-Thursday dramas is the fiercest. While KBS2's "Into The Ring" which caused controversy over the support of certain political parties, will be unveiled on the 1st and MBC's "She Knows Everything" on the 8th. Both dramas are eye-catching in that they are written by rookie writers.

"Into The Ring" is written by Moon Hyun-kyung and the winner of the 10th Drama Contest hosted by the Korea Foundation for Broadcast Contents in 2018 and "She Knows Everything" is written by Seo Young-hee-I and won an award for excellence in the MBC drama series competition in 2019.

The new KBS2 TV drama "Into The Ring" is an office romantic comedy in which Goo Se-ra, the queen of civil complaints, runs for district representative. Although it drew much attention in protest of the conservative party's character in the drama, the reality is that various members of our society, including job seekers, working mothers and women with minor issues, are the main subjects of the drama. Actor Park Sung-hoon takes on the role of Seo Gong-myung, an elite district worker who tackles corrupt politicians with Goo Se-ra.

"She Knows Everything" is a mystery drama that occurs in a reconstructing apartment and deals with the desires and truth of humans. Actress Kang Sung-yeon plays Lee Goong-bok, a nosy real estate agent and Jo Han-sun plays the charismatic veteran detective named In Ho-chul. Basketball player-turned-TV entertainer Woo Ji-won plays the role of a manager who aims to play the role of the next union leader, drawing attention by challenging his first drama performance.

◇ Romantic drama battle, "To All The Guys Who Loved Me" VS "Was It Love"

The new KBS2 TV drama "To All The Guys Who Loved Me" is a close-up 'non-marriage' romantic comedy drama that takes place when a webtoon planning team manager named Seo Hyeon-joo (Hwang Jung-eum) who became a non-marriageist because 'they're all the same', gets asked out by pharmaceutical company CEO Hwang Ji-woo (Yoon Hyun-min) and star webtoon writer Park Do-gyeom (Seo Ji-hoon), two men of conflicting charms one day. As the heroine's job in the drama is the head of the webtoon planning team, star webtoon writers Lee Mal-nyeon and Joo Ho-min will appear in cameo roles, respectively, as a an artist with mysophobia and an artist with a low vitality.

JTBC's Wednesday-Thursday series "Was It Love" which will air from Tuesday, is also about a single mother who is courted by four men. Actress Song Ji-hyo plays No Ae-jeong, a single mom of 14 years who has been receiving affection from 'bad but charming' Oh Dae-oh (Son Ho-jun), 'cheerful and handsome' Ryoo Jin (Song Jong-ho), 'young and exciting' Oh Yeon-woo (Koo Ja-sung), and 'scary and sexy' Goo Pa-do (Kim Min-jun).
