New Korean Releases; 'The Restless' and 'Old Miss Diary'

Good news for James Bond fans.
The 21st film starring the world's favorite secret agent is out this week in Korea.
We also have two contrasting Korean releases out this week, a fantasy action and the other, a romantic comedy.
Son Heekyung reports.

The fantasy action epic "The Restless" is one of the most awaited films this Christmas.
The ten-million dollar movie was shot on location in China for around six months.
Actress Kim Tae-hee also makes her motion picture debut in the film, and stars alongside actor Jung Woo-sung.
Director Jo Dong-oh's film tells of a couple who reunites in "Chungchon", a mysterious place between earth and heaven where the souls of the dead stay for 49 days before reincarnation.
Kim plays the main character who dies and becomes a goddess in Chungchon forgetting about her past, including her lover.
Most eye-catching of all are the computer generated images.

Next up is "Old Miss Diary - Movie".
The story revolves around a 30-something voice actress who shows no interest in marriage.
But things change after she meets a handsome producer at the broadcast network where she works.
Her family hopes she can start a serious relationship with him.
The plot is similar to that of the TV drama that aired last year.

From Hollywood comes "Casino Royale", the 21st James Bond movie.
The film is based on the 1953 novel of the same title and is a remake of the 1967 original.
Daniel Craig of Britain is the sixth actor to portray the role of the secret agent.
Bond is assigned to stop a corrupt banker from winning money in a high-stakes poker game in Montenegro.
With the help of a beautiful but mysterious British agent, Bond sets out on his first mission.
The film has dirty tricks, violence and thrills.

Last up is a computer-animated comedy from the US.
It's called "Happy Feet".
Set in an emperor penguin colony in Antarctica, the film is about how penguins find their soulmates through singing.
Simply put, every penguin must sing a unique song to lure friends.
