A press release from the card's creator SBS Contents Hub announced Tuesday that they have unveiled Girls' Generation's "Star Collection Card Vol. 2.5", which went on sale on online shopping mall Gmarket yesterday, featuring 72 never-before-seen pictures of the girls.

In December of last year, SBS released the first series of collection cards of Girls' Generation which sold over 100,000 packs in a week of going on sale, while the second series, which hit stores in June, brought in over 500,000 preorders.

"We have designed the new cards differently from the previous ones and we have received numerous requests from their fans in Japan as well since the girls have begun their singing career there", an official from SBS Contents Hub was quoted as saying.

The cards are currently available for purchase on online shopping site Gmarket (http://www.gmarket.co.kr) and will be available in music stores on November 22.

Composed of members Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Sunny, Tiffany Young, Jessica Jung, Seohyun, Yoona, Kwon Yuri and Choi Soo-young, Girls' Generation made their debut in 2007 with their single album "Into the New World".

The group have officially branched out into the Japanese music market starting August this year, attracting over 20,000 fans to their first showcase and becoming the first Korean girl group to reach the No. 1 spot on the Oricon chart.

They are currently promoting their new song "Hoot" and their third mini-album of the same name since its release on October 25.
