Nielsen Korea Unavailable To Provide Viewing Rates Due To KT Fire

Nielsen Korea, which is responsible for several broadcasting viewing rates, is still unavailable due to the KT fire that occurred over the weekend.

Nielsen Korea provides viewing rates for TV shows, dramas, news and more between 6 and 7 AM in the morning, but it's been offline since the 25th. This is an unprecedented situation as a result of the fire that occured at the KT Ahhyun branch on the 24th.

Jung-gu, Mapo-gu, Yongsan-gu, Seodaemun-gu, Eunpyeong-gu in Seoul and Kyeonggi-do and Goyang-si experienced communication problems in cell phones, internet and others because of this. Nielsen Korea is also at an all-stop.

Sources say they can't say when the system will be up, but things will be running as soon as possible.
