NYT Compares K-Pop Star Yang Yo-seob to Justin Bieber

Yang Yo-seob, a member of the boy band BEAST, was spotlighted in an article by the New York Times last week.

The daily drew on an interview clip with him, as well as one of his music videos, while focusing on the appearance of K-pop stars in musicals.

Yang recently received praise for playing the title role in the Korean rendition of the musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat".

The paper referred to Yang as a Korean heartthrob and compared his influence on ticket sales to the effect Justin Bieber would have on a Broadway show.
