"Welcome to Bongtaeri" is a delightful fantasy romantic comedy film featuring 'Il-woo' who became a 'fake nature person' and Bong-sook, who became a 'fake farmer' in Bongtaeri, the dead end of life.

Oh Seung-hoon plays Il-woo. He thinks 'owning his own house' and 'living a stable and happy life' are equivalent and therefore becomes a 'fake nature person' in an isolated countryside called Bongtaeri in order to save a pharmaceutical company and earn 200% in yearly income. Oh Seung-hoon plans on depicting a sloppy character through Il-woo, who goes from pure-blooded city man to 'a fake nature person'.

Kim Yoon-hye plays Bong-sook. She is forced to play a trick to achieve her dream due to her parents' announcement to stop supporting her financially and becomes a 'fake young farmer' in Bongtaeri, the mountain village where her maternal grandfather lives.

Director Park Jung-rye won the Korea Communications Commission Best Broadcasting Award for "Journey Through the World" and has focused on stories about 'real and fake' through novel ways of storytelling and fresh production, including factual fantasy documentaries and real-time multi-channel web dramas.

"Welcome to Bongtaeri" begins filming at the end of May.
