[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Attitudes and Aspirations Clash in Stills for "Just Dance"

The drama adaptation of the "Dancesport Girls" documentary film, "Just Dance", has been consistently releasing goodies of its lovely young cast, and the caring teacher, Lee Kyoo-ho, portrayed by Kim Kap-soo. This dance club is not going to be a smooth ride for the girls, and we have some awkward stills and information showing why.

In the stills, we have Park Se-wan as Kim  Si-eun, and Lee Zoo-young as Park  Hye-jin looking like disgruntled fish out of the water. Si-eun, who wants to become a movie director, enters the dancesport club in order to earn a special admission and make it to college. On the other hand, Hye-jin is forced to enter the club by Lee Kyoo-ho, after she gets caught up in some sort of incident.

So while Si-eun is desperate to do well and win, Hye-jin is just there to spend time against her will. I love friendships and victories born out of learning to work together and bridging gaps, so this is an appealing duo for me. I hope that the drama can realistically portray the unique struggles and virtues of diverse teenagers in a feel-good, but still down to Earth way.

Despite the awkward start between the characters, the actors have all the best to say about each other and about their collaboration, and the production staff have also been quick to praise the two and their synergy. I hope that this drama will be worthy of much love, and that it will receive it. "Just Dance" is premiering on December 3rd on KBS 2TV.
