[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Demonic Powers Take Root in Latest "Priest" Teaser

2018/10/30 | 362 views | Permalink

If you haven't had enough crackling of bones and irresponsible rearranging of interior decor with something like "The Guest - Drama", OCN has got you covered with upcoming show "Priest". The demons are here, they have powers, they are angry, and they need a chiropractor and Jesus.

The teaser has all the goodies we can expect from such shows, with oodles of religious symbols and their downfall at the hands of powers from below, an eager young exorcist diving into things he's not ready for, a doctor who can't believe her eyes and ears, and an older exorcist who errs on the side of caution. What is an otherwise intense, dark teaser ends with the hero attempting to correct his rude slumber with a 'Praise Jesus', so there's your dash of humor.

The story is described as an 'inevitable collaboration' of a doctor and an exorcist, which makes sense when we see what happens to the bodies of possessed humans, who probably end up in a hospital before anyone knows what is really wrong with them. Let's hope that lives are saved and expensive medical equipment is spared. "Priest" premieres on November 24th.
