[Orion's Daily Ramblings] First Stills of Lee Seung-Gi For "A Korean Odyssey"

2017/12/04 | 871 views | Permalink

Or as I like to call this piece, "Lee Seung-gi Wears Fur of His Enemies' Beloved Pets". "A Korean Odyssey" has certainly flaunted its stylish leads before, but this image confirms that the proof of concept teasers are pretty descriptive of the main show, at least fashion-wise. Given the fantasy genre, I would say bold fashion statements such as this amalgamation of horrors suit it well.

The news pieces accompanying the stills mention that the actor is very pleased with the script and he is as glad to work with the production as they are glad to work with him. We also get a little bit of basic info on our fur-clad hero, who may be an excellent fighter, but who is also arrogant as all hell. This gets him shunned by his peers and kicked out into the human world.

Aside from Lee Seung-gi's fluffy garments, the production has revealed the drama's release date as December 23rd, so "A Korean Odyssey" will become one fine Christmas present for drama fans.
