[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Go Hyun-Jung Considering Comeback with Park Shin-yang's "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho 2: Crime and Punishment"

Go Hyun-jung may be returning to Dramaland soon, as the actress has received an offer from upcoming drama "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho 2: Crime and Punishment". The first season, "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho", is about a has-been prosecutor getting out of a rut and becoming a lawyer for the powerless, while fighting for personal revenge at the same time.

If she accepts, Go Hyun-jung will reportedly play a villain, and this just makes my little Ori-heart so happy. The first season stumbled quite a lot with its villains, but their strong actors really helped sell them. I'm hoping for something juicier this time, and it's exciting to see a rare woman villain as well. I'm really looking forward to more details on the character.

Speaking of which, I'm really hoping that we get some of the old crew back. Deul-ho's (Park Shin-yang) office gang is just adorable, and they look like the kind to stick around. I'd also love to see Jang Hae-kyeong (Park Sol-mi) and Sin Ji-wook (Ryu Soo-young) again, not to mention the adorable and smart little Soo-bin (Heo Jung-eun).

Kang So-ra's Lee Eun-jo was sadly an expendable presence, so I hope that she either returns with a meatier character, or bows out for someone with more oomph. But now I'm letting my hopes take my expectations over, so I'll be a good girl and wait. "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho 2: Crime and Punishment" will be out in the first half of 2019, so we have plenty of time to see it develop.
