[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Im Soo-jung Confirms Starring Role in TvN's "Search: WWW"

2019/02/22 | 433 views | Permalink

Upcoming tvN drama "Search: WWW" has officially landed its lead, as actor Im Soo-jung makes her return to Dramaland following her work 2017's "Chicago Typewriter". "Search: WWW" is a fantasy drama about modern women who choose their careers over becoming wives or mothers.

Im Soo-jung has confirmed her participation for the role of Bae Ta-mi, a woman in her 30s working as the head of the biggest portal site in the IT industry. Ta-mi is a real go-getter who has what it takes to win, and who enjoys winning, but she begins to wonder if she is sacrificing too much for success.

The series is reportedly drawing interest due to PD Jung Ji-hyun's work as a co-director in "Mr. Sunshine", and writer Kwon Do-eun's work as an assistant writer to Kim Eun-sook. As someone not fond of the latter's work, I hope that writer Kwon Do-eun can shine more on her own. "Search: WWW" is about to wrap up the casting process, and will be premiering in the first half of this year.
