[Orion's Daily Ramblings] "Partners for Justice" Warns of Deceit in First Teaser

The first teaser for "Partners for Justice", MBC's upcoming investigative mystery drama, is a case of something appearing simple at first turning foreboding and interesting. The teaser introduces both leads, and reveals their different reaction to their grim joint cause.

Jung Yoo-mi's Eun Sol looks uncomfortable and mortified at the butcher-like nature of the autopsy she is witnessing, while Jung Jae-young is focused on his work. The video makes sure that the viewer will be as put off by the process as the heroine, but this otherwise plays as a simple proof of concept teaser.

That is until hero Baek Beom's ominous warning makes its short, but meaningful appearance. "Don't believe anyone. Not even the dead" says our forensic specialist. I know that he's essentially just saying that the evidence can lie if not examined as a whole, but it's a pretty creepy statement, given the atmosphere of the teaser.

I still know very little about what to expect from this, but if the tone of this video is anything to go by, "Partners for Justice" will be an atmospheric and sleek crime mystery piece. Softie-for-crime yours truly will look forward to it. The drama begins airing on May 14th on MBC.
