[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Kim Tae-hoon Is a Workaholic Doctor for "Let's Watch the Sunset"

If we're going to suffer through a collapsing marriage leading to eventual death, we might as well suffer with a cast capable of carrying the material, and Kim Tae-hoon is no stranger to death. So much death. All of the death. "Let's Watch the Sunset" has released stills of the actor in his character, doctor Jang Seok-joon.

In a grand display of predictability, Jang Seok-joon is a man who lost his wife to the same illness as heroine Nam Hyeon-joo (Han Hye-jin), but I have not yet come across his reasons for wanting to save the latter so badly, which makes him a bit of a mystery.

The character is described as a workaholic, and he doesn't seem to be acting very warmly toward our heroine in the teasers, despite him clearly being the one she gets a new crush on. Is this a case of him not being interested and trying to be professional, or is there more to his wish to save her than a resurfaced trauma from his own loss?

Whichever the case, Kim Tae-hoon loves his characters who suffer, die or both, so I'd basically trust him with such a role without a second thought. "Let's Watch the Sunset" has a great cast, and I hope it's worthy of it. If not, at least we get Kim Tae-hoon in sexy surgeon gear. Win win? Win win.
