[Orion's Daily Ramblings] "Kingdom" Brings a Different King of Uprising in Second Official Trailer

My excitement for "Kingdom" seems to follow the increasing number of corpses and walking corpses in it, and this latest trailer spares no shuffling expenses. Whatever this illness is, it takes no hostages, and it definitely doesn't need a terrible politician making it worse.

One line that particularly stands out from this video is the cries of the people to not be abandoned. While it's a very literal cry for salvation from a terrifying disease, there's a lot of potential for some solid political commentary to be found there.

Korean dramas love their politics, after all, and zombies have been a type of creature... uuhh... ripe for such themes. Since their popularization, they have been used for and against racial, financial, social and other forms of discrimination and oppression. They represent fears, and the facing of them.

With "Kingdom" premiering at the end of this month, we don't have long to wait, but I hope that we get even more promotional goodies moving forward. I always discover new food for thought in these, and please know that I resisted calling it 'brain food' very very hard.
