[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Lee Hye-young-I Returns With "Mother - Drama" After 7 Years

Two new stills along with a little bit of character information have come out for the role of Lee Hye-young-I in "Mother - Drama" and I am intrigued to see how her character is handled by the creators, but also how the actress tackles her. With 36 years of acting experience on her, I have a feeling we will be in for a very interesting mother to our titular mother.

Lee Hye-young-I plays Yeong-sin, a great actress of her time and a single mother of three daughters. Soo-jin (Lee Bo-young) is the oldest and the one who supports the family. The two have an interesting bond, glimpses of which I got to see in the Japanese original. Yeong-sin's other two daughers are Lee-jin (Jeon Hye-in) and Hyo-jin (Go Bo-gyeol). Their single mother wanted to do her best in raising a healthy family through the challenges of being a single parent.

Lee Hye-young-I also briefly spoke about the reason why she has made her return with "Mother - Drama". She says that she has been looking forward to the work due to writer Jeong Seo-kyeong and that the script itself is one she liked. I hope that her chemistry with Lee Bo-young is solid, because I have a feeling we'll be in for some great on-screen goodness.
