[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Meeting the Heroes of "The Guest - Drama" Through Character Posters

The ghost-busting trio of "The Guest - Drama" come from different walks of life, and from a different approach to the supernatural, but these three badasses definitely look like they can handle anything thrown their way. The drama has released character posters, along with a summary of what each character is all about, and a fact I didn't previously know about.

Yoon Hwa-pyeong (Kim Dong-wook) is 'a psychic who can see evil spirits'. Although he seems to be living a normal life, the tragedy experienced in his childhood has left him with an unimaginable darkness. He goes after the shadows of evil spirits in the past and present using his psychic powers. His copy reads "I saw it. That person's Hand is here. It's going to possess".

We can't have a bit of childhood trauma here though, absolutely not. We need All. The. Trauma, which is where Choi  Yoon (Kim Jae-wook), 'an exorcist who pursues evil spirits', comes in. Our second hero started believing in evil after experiencing a tragic incident during his childhood. I can already smell the connection to Hwa-pyeong. His copy reads "Don't you dare speak without knowing the Devil".

Then we have the black, or rather down to Earth sheep, Kang Gil-yeong (Jung Eun-chae). She is 'a detective who does not believe in evil spirits', but being with two guys edgy enough to cut a mango on will probably affect her eventually. Especially if there's a supernatural element here after all. Her copy reads "I will only catch the criminals that I can see".

The posters are really simple, but effective, and I'm really liking the fact that the text forms a cross over their images. It's not subtle, but it's a nice little touch. "The Guest - Drama" will be premiering on September 12th at 23:00 KST on OCN.
