[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Melancholic New Posters for "Shall We Kiss First"

The upcoming adult romance of "Shall We Kiss First" has been consistently releasing goodies, and although the first three teasers confused me with their fluctuating tone, it looks like the drama has settled into a more consistent melo-romantic one. Kam Woo-sung and Kim Sun-a are of course the bread and butter of the series, and their latest posters look lovely.

"Shall We Kiss First" is being described as a romantic melodrama about the clumsy love of mature people with life experience. I see words like "realistic", "contemplative" and the like thrown around, which I hope are accurate descriptors. Everyday obstacles in adult romance is one thing, what Dramaland often considers "realistic" is another, so I take that particular approach with a grain of salt.

Personal worries over drama vs. melodrama in Korean shows aside, these posters look affectionate, but at the same time very bleak. I don't know if this foreshadows a doomed romance or simply one lacking the colorful fanfare of youth dating, but there's little left to be desired in terms of style when you have two solid actors gracing the posters.

"Shall We Kiss First" is premiering this Monday on SBS and it continues its format of two 35-minute episodes each scheduled day. May the kissy couple live and love with a minimum amount of tragedy.
