[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Oh Yeon-Seo Wields Her Trusty Umbrella For "A Korean Odyssey"

After the overload of man-goods and loud fashion from "A Korean Odyssey", we finally get to meet our heroine in the form of stills. Her name is Jin Seon-mi and she runs a real estate company, but the lady's skills do not end in management and housing. Seon-mi is a human who can see demons and whose blood seems to be quite enticing to them. She also has some tricks of her own.

As we have seen in her recent teaser, Seon-mi's umbrella is protected by charms, which probably enable her to fend off said demons. In the scene depicted in the stills, the heroine has an encounter with the supernatural dangers she arms herself against. Oh Yeon-seo can pull off a cool character like nobody's business and I'm hoping that her Seon-mi is treated well.

Still 1

The Hong sisters are sadly responsible for some very problematic leading women's characters, but they have also created a few main and supporting ones in the past that I would confidently call feminist. I hope to see the duo return to those days, because I would like my brain to not scream when I watch their works and because it's simply more fun to have equally cared for leads in any story.

May Seon-mi and her trusty umbrella divide and conquer, because it sounds like her fellow heroes could use a grounding force and ally in the human world.
