[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Park Han-byul, Ryu Soo-young, Wang Bit-na up for "Love in Sadness"

Upcoming MBC melodrama "Love in Sadness", which is courting Ji Hyun-woo as its lead has added three more names to its casting efforts. Fly-up Entertainment agency's Park Han-byul, Ryu Soo-young and Wang Bit-na are reportedly on the final stages of coordinating their appearance in the drama.

Park Han-byul has been offered the role of heroine on the run, Yoon Ma-ri. She is the mysterious woman who will ask the hero for a new face in order to escape her marriage. Ryu Soo-young is up for Kang In-wook, the heir to a conglomerate and Yoon Ma-ri's obsessive and abusive husband; a dark side hiding behind his handsome appearance and impressive qualifications.

If she accepts, Wang Bit-na will be playing Joo Hae-ra, the director of an art museum who lost her parents. She is in unrequited love with On Ji-seong (Ji Hyun-woo), a man she has a sibling-like close relationship with, though clearly not from her side. Her desire will change her, so there's a big 'antagonist' sign slapped on her forehead.

"Love in Sadness" is going for a pretty nice cast so far, but we still have no writer and PD assigned that I can find news of during this batch of casting tidbits, so I'm still not feeling it. Good news is, we have plenty of time for juicier information, as the drama will premiere in February.
