[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Park Seo-joon in, Park Min-young Considering "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim"

We're finally having some forward movement in webtoon-based drama "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim", which had previously been courting actor Park Seo-joon. The actor has now confirmed his role as the leading man, but the good news comes in pair form, as actress Park Min-young is now considering the role of the titular Secretary Kim!

Park Seo-joon is set to play a man who may be perfect head to toe, but who is also a narcissistic chaebol, called Lee Young-joon. If Park Min-young accepts, she will be playing the legendary secretary Kim  Mi-so. With both actors being well-loved faces in romantic works, this is a highly anticipated pairing.

Writer Jeong Eun-yeong doesn't have much under her name, but PD Park Joon-hwa has been on high demand ever since hit drama "This Life Is Our First Life" last year. The premise of "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim" sounds very "Protect the Boss"-ey, and there are plenty of other works with the same dynamic, but familiar doesn't mean bad. This could be a bit of a modern twist to the ol' rich man-baby and capable woman pairing.

The series will be airing on tvN, and it is currently looking at a late May timeslot. Let's see if it captures Park Min-young's heart.
