[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Rain and Lee Dong-gun Clash Over Tragedy in "Sketch - Drama"

2018/05/23 | 867 views | Permalink

It looks like my conspiracy theory of the two male leads of "Sketch - Drama" locked in battle due to a common lover was wrong after all, but this just makes me more curious about the connection between the two. The drama has released stills of Rain and Lee Dong-gun when their characters had a happy life, but also stills of a confrontation in the more grim present.

Seeing these stills has been a bit of a relief, because as dramatic as a makjang twist of a double-teaming lover might be, I prefer my stories less on the absurd side. Time seems to be key in "Sketch - Drama", as heroine Yoo Si-hyeon (Lee Sun-bin) looks ahead, while heroes Kang Dong-soo (Rain) and Kim  Do-jin (Lee Dong-gun) are stuck in their terrible past.

My guess is that some major incident or common killer took the lives of both women, and that suspicions will be ample on either side over who may have done it. So, not makjang, but pleasantly grand and dramatic nonetheless. "Sketch - Drama" will be premiering this Friday, so I'll give it a go.
