[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Rookie Actor Yoo In-soo Signs On for "Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter" and "Life"

It feels as if rookies are popping up like mushrooms sometimes, but for an industry often too attached to its stars regardless of their skills and talent, new options are always welcome. Fresh actor Yoo In-soo has been busy since his first work in 2017, and he has now signed on for "Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter" and "Life".

There is not a lot of information out on these roles, so I'm assuming that he will still be a supporting presence. What we do know is that he will be playing a student in "Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter". Yoo In-soo has a good variety of works in his short resume, and although I don't remember him in the one work of his that I've seen, it's good to see a new artist following a path of growth.

We all know some artists are skyrocketed to major roles before they are ready for them, and that usually serves no one, at least in terms of quality. Since I'll be checking both upcoming dramas out, I'll see where Yoo In-soo stands skill-wise. The actor has won the Grand Prize in the Monologue category of the 3rd SAC Youth Acting Competition, so that's encouraging.

There is no release date for "Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter" yet, but "Life" will premiere in July, on jTBC.
