[Orion's Daily Ramblings] "Sketch - Drama" Releases First Stills of Lee Dong-gun, Lee Sun-bin and Jung Jin-young

"Sketch - Drama" has been giving us more information and introductory stills for its four leads, and since I've already talked about Rain's Kang Dong-soo, today I bring you his three co-stars. The roles of Lee Dong-gun, Lee Sun-bin and Jung Jin-young all seem to carry a special something about them.

Kim  Do-jin (Lee Dong-gun) is a highly skilled, systematically trained and physically exceptional soldier, who is almost considered an ultimate human weapon. However, his skills are not magical, and the man fails to protect the one he loves the most. Do-jin, who has been walking the path of a soldier, will have a highly anticipated choice to make.

Yoo Si-hyeon (Lee Sun-bin) is a woman who can sketch the future of the next 72 hours. Although she carries a trauma around her predictive sketching, which started suddenly in her childhood, she chose the path of a detective in order to save lives through this special ability. She tries to prevent people's deaths by sketching their future, and she will work together with Kang Dong-soo (Rain) in order to solve cases.

I'm personally most interested in Jung Jin-young's Jang Tae-joon, a mysterious character who has the ability to predict the future. This may not look exciting at first glance, given the heroine can do the same, but Tae-joon is a former detective whose psychic ability is much stronger than Si-hyeon's. What really gets my curiosity going is that he is a figure balancing between good and evil, and I expect a lot of confusion on our end. He hides his true identity, and he is an antagonistic presence against Do-jin and Dong-soo.

I must admit, I did happily giggle a bit over our detective heroine with a trauma, because that's usually the backstory you find in male leads, case in point being the two heroes. I just hope their man-pain won't overshadow her, as I'm looking forward to Lee Sun-bin's psychic character the most along with Jung Jin-young's. "Sketch - Drama" will premiere in May on jTBC.
