[Orion's Daily Ramblings] "The Ghost Detective" Drops Dark and Creepy Posters Featuring Choi Daniel

Turn these posters into essential oils and rub them all over me, because nothing makes this mortal coil's hungry soul happier than some good horror in Dramaland, as we need more solid series in the genre. "The Ghost Detective" (also known as "Today's Detective") has released some fine posters sparking the mystery through Choi Daniel's Lee Da-il.

The teaser posters are just lovely, opting for simple, but well-designed visuals and going all out on atmosphere and intrigue. The ghost-themed series hasn't revealed the paranormal yet, as even the silhouette shown in the landscape oriented one seems to be none other than its hero, but I expect to see those elements creep in soon. Unless "The Ghost Detective" can be interpreted as the detective who is a ghost, and what a twist that would be.

The production has commented "Choi Daniel's originally gentle image makes a complete 180 degree transformation. To find out the details behind this creepy horror imagery, please watch "The Ghost Detective", which will excite you to the bone this summer". Promotional over-bragging aside, I do hope that the drama will excite me to my weary bone when it premieres on August 29th, on KBS 2TV.
