[Orion's Daily Ramblings] "The Ghost Detective" Faces Buried Anger in Main Posters + Bonus Posters

Every ghost has unfinished business in fiction, but when that business is loaded with heaps of postmortem anger, it's usually bad news for a lot of living people. "The Ghost Detective" has released two main posters, and they explore the grievances left unresolved.

I assume that both feature words spoken by our definitely-not-a-ghost-never, Lee Ji-ah's Woo-hye. The first poster features her looming outside a window, watching our ghost-seeing detective and his assistant, who appear aware of, and ready to face something menacing nearby. The copy reads 'Can they be saved next time as well?'

The other poster has our two ladies getting close for something less pleasant than a friendly chat, with Woo-hye digging her ghostly nails into Yeo-wool (Park Eun-bin), and Lee Da-il (Choi Daniel) brooding in a stream of blood above. The copy here provides more impact, and food for thought. 'What is so different between your anger and mine', asks the presence.

The production has commented "The main posters contain the mysterious atmosphere of a presence that cannot be seen. The text in particular pertains to how "The Ghost Detective" deals with widespread anger in society. The story of Choi Daniel, Park Eun-bin and Lee Ji-ah, who are entangled with this 'anger', will bring both chills and catharsis to the audience. Please look forward to it".

Oh I am looking forward to it, alright. I've been looking forward to it for a while, and the time is finally here! "The Ghost Detective" will premiere next Wednesday, September 5th on KBS 2TV. I'm ready to be spooked, entertained, and perhaps given something to contemplate.
