[Orion's Daily Ramblings] "The Guest - Drama" Releases Infernal Posters

I'm still not sure if the Hell our three heroes will go through is metaphorical or real, but the newly released posters for OCN's upcoming exorcism drama, "The Guest - Drama" are certainly piling on the scary red and fire. Our psychic, our priest, and our detective have a grand battle with a far-reaching evil ahead.

Yoon Hwa-pyeong (Kim Dong-wook) is a tenacious medium who chases the shadows of evil spirits, and tracks down people possessed by the 'Hand', while Choi  Yoon (Kim Jae-wook) is a cold priest who performs exorcisms. Detective Kang Gil-yeong (Jung Eun-chae) does not believe in evil spirits, but by becoming entangled with the two, she starts to feel the dread.

The drama's teaser poster has its leads marching carefully forward, while the text reminds us that the evil 'comes from deep within the East Sea'. The other posters have the three characters facing back at us, and presumably at this infamous 'Hand' that's out to grab everyone. Those posters read 'That person's hand is here! It's going to possess!'

These descriptions are killing me, because I so desperately want to know on which side of reality this drama will be. Reports use wording which indicates that the three will be solving crimes committed by the 'Hand's' possession and the evil spirits hiding within the hearts of men. Yet the new posters clearly state said 'Hand' as belonging to a person, and by that I assume a living one.

All of this points to a cult or other organization's powerful leader. I don't mind these vague descriptions if they are teasing an important part of the plot, but I think I'll be disappointed if the series promotes this way only to immediately reveal itself as another crime drama about cults upon its premiere. Don't break my supernatural-loving heart, "The Guest - Drama".
