[Orion's Daily Ramblings] "The Guest - Drama" Reveals Protagonists and Shamanistic Rituals in First Teaser

2018/08/02 | 512 views | Permalink

After torturing us with motion posters from "The Guest - Drama" on social media, OCN has finally dropped a proper first teaser for the upcoming exorcism-themed drama. The video shows us an eerie, but imposing Korean shamanistic ritual, before it teases us with a glimpse of leads Kim Dong-wook, Kim Jae-wook and Jung Eun-chae.

The three play a psychic, a priest and a detective who will join hands in solving crimes committed by strange powers throughout Korean society. I assume that previously released character information is still accurate, but I do wonder whether there's a supernatural element to this drama or not. Perhaps that question will be part of the mystery?

I'm ready to give "Entourage" writers Kwon So-ra and Seo Jae-won a clean slate for a fresh start at this, and I hope that they and PD Kim Hong-seon-I will make the best of this interesting premise and sweet cast. I can't wait to see more promotional material from "The Guest - Drama", which is now confirmed to premiere at 23:00 KST on September 12th.
