[Orion's Daily Ramblings] "Thirty But Seventeen" Brings Confusion and Crushed Desserts in Latest Teaser

I don't know what our heroine of "Thirty But Seventeen" would expect from a romantic first meeting, but no one would crush my choco pie with their careless glutes and get away with it lightly. The titular time-warped protagonist, Woo Seo-ri, has a confusing return to society following her coma of 13 years, and hero Gong Woo-jin's unconventional ways and rude bun buns aren't helping.

Dramaland hospital security is still doing swimmingly in letting people wander off, but it's especially bad for Seo-ri (Shin Hye-sun) and her mind-body dissonance. The girl-slash-woman is in for a rude awakening to the life of a 30-year-old, so while a crushed dessert may not seem terrible to you, it's probably just another slap in the rapidly aged face for her at the moment.

The teaser also makes me curious about her condition after the coma. I wonder if the series will play up the changes in youth behavior. Seo-ri acts way younger than 17 here, and I'm not sure if she's just being infantilized for the sake of comedy, or as a way to show contrast to modern 17-year-olds. Going by the rowdy student in the teaser, I'm hoping it's the latter.

Seo-ri, Woo-jin (Yang Se-jong), and Woo-jin's backside will be having their fateful meeting on July 23rd on MBC.
