[Orion's Drama News] A Drama For Every Occasion

We are in for a major wave of summer drama premieres this week, so prepare to greet a whopping eight of them. The shows are spanning across enough genres and tones to cover all manner of taste and moods, but I have attempted to divide them into meaty and lighter experiences. Join me in picking out new watch list additions.

Smörgåsbord of Misery

Monday brings us new daily drama "Love Until the End", which has new teasers out, as well as medical power play drama "Life". The latter has released its sixth teaser, as well as a main poster. In less medical, but equally sombre fashion, "Time - Drama" is here to bring suffering, and choices surrounding it starting on Wednesday, which is also the premiere day of "Your Honor". The latter has new posters, and it has added Jung Min-sung as a special appearance. When it comes to picking my poison, I will go with "Life".

Something a Little Lighter

Even delectable misery needs a foil, and this week brings us romantic comedy in oodles. "Thirty But Seventeen" premieres on Monday, and the series has released new stills of Ahn Hyo-seop. Joining it on the same day is hormone-themed "Risky Romance", which has a new teaser and posters. The adorable witches of "Witch's Love" will be flying in on Wednesday, and you can see them in these lovely teasers. Last, but not least, "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" brings campus life and growth, which you can see teased through new posters and behind the scenes shots. I want to watch everything. Send help.

Upcoming Drama Goodies

Marital bliss turns sour in "Familiar Wife", and work life is not doing any better, which we can see in new stills as well. Drama "Four Men" has halted production, and OCN's "Priest" has gone through some changes as well. "The Fiery Priest" may have found its PD, and "The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos" is courting an awesome cast. In more casting news, Park Shin-yang returns with "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho 2: Crime and Punishment", Lim Ji-chan joins "I'm a Mother, Too", and Hwang Bo-ra joins "Vagabond", while Ryu Hwa-young tackles "Beauty Inside - Drama". Lastly, "Arthdal Chronicles" is gunning for quite the powerhouse quartet.

Followed Dramas

"Life" is calling me, but I am also about to wrap up "Partners for Justice" after finishing "Sketch - Drama". I still have a backlog I want to try and get through, but with so many new dramas starting, I need to prioritize. Will you be starting one or several of this week's shows?
