[Orion's Drama News] Just Keep Swimming

The big ol' drama machine never stops spinning and this is true throughout what has been an eventful and no doubt emotionally charged week for many. Today I look at the new goodies from "Untouchable" and "Prison Playbook" as we go into the season of manly bonding. Silly Ori gets a bit serious this week, as I close with what I feel is important for us all to remember.

To Bond or Not to Bond

The complexity of male bonds has been an ongoing and even overly persistent theme in Korean cinema for a while, but Dramaland is never far behind. Upcoming brotherly turmoil drama "Untouchable" has two new teasers and new character posters. I still cannot tell if this has the potential of substance through the current focus on style, but I am hopeful. "Reply-team" drama "Prison Playbook" is also making an impression lately and its latest posters are just lovely. I am all for some well-developed bromances and anti-bromances outside the realm of romance.

Upcoming Drama Goodies

Noh Hee-kyeong's much awaited remake gets Son Na-eun, while Hong Kyung plays a standard modern youth in "Jugglers". OCN's romantic streak continues with a cast for "That Man Oh Soo" and a cast for "Longing Heart" having been established. In other news, "Sunny - 2010" and "Scandal Makers" director turns to drama writing for tvN's "Be Melodramatic" and we have the first teaser for "Money Bouquet". There are also news for "A Korean Odyssey", "Doubtful Victory" and "Four Men", so check the goodies out.

Followed Dramas

So much has happened this week, from happy weddings and army discharges to the tragedy of Kim Joo-hyuk's passing. Being a fan can be emotionally taxing, as far removed from the world of entertainment as we may be. The actor's loved ones have my condolences. You as readers have my advice to always take time for self-care. It is okay to not be okay. My plans to cover "Argon" have not changed, but I will give it a little time. For now, I have a meeting with the ultimate surly drama lead, Mr. "Black". I leave you with my "Lookout" series review. Have a good weekend, folks.
