[Orion's Drama News] Reverse Love and Busy Women

Welcome to a week or writing woes and capable women. Today I take a look at "Chicago Typewriter" and its quirky characters before introducing some upcoming weekend and daily dramas about women's stories. I also share plenty of casting news and some media from upcoming dramas. Let us welcome the new drama season together.

I Anti-Love You

Fans of stars often fantasize a romance with them, but "Chicago Typewriter" might just take things to the other extreme. The series stars Yoo Ah-in as a bestselling author suffering from writer's block and Lim Soo-jung as his anti-fan, because burning hate and obsession are great icebreakers for a budding romance. Go Kyung-pyo also stars as a ghostwriter and friend of the male lead. The series has released script reading photos and we also have some character teasers.

Power-Ladies

If you like longer dramas and woman-centric stories, it looks like the upcoming season holds great promise. "Sister is Alive", which just cast actor Jo Yoon-woo is about loss and the rediscovery of hope through the lives of three women. Bae Jong-ok and Oh Ji-eun will be playing determined and loving mothers in "Nameless Woman" while Lee Tae-ran takes on "Wanna Taste" as someone who uses her great skills to help her own.

Upcoming Drama Goodies

Kim Jung-eun has confirmed OCN's "Duel" while Park Sung-geun might be joining "Secret Forest". "Watch out for this Woman" is still missing said woman, but it has gained Choi Tae-joon. Sandara Park will be acting in "Cheese in the Trap - Movie" and Kim Sung-oh kicks 2017 off with "Fight For My Way". Seo Kang-joon is considering the role of an aegyo robot and yes, you read that correctly. We also have the third teaser for "Whisper" and stills from "My Secret Romance".

Followed Dramas

After a long drama break and the painful outcome of "Missing 9" I am more than ready for my new dramas. Today is "Tunnel - Drama" day and "Whisper" is just around the corner. You can read my initial thoughts on the latter in its preview piece. I am also done with my "Solomon's Perjury" review.
