Park Eun-hye to Star in Hong Kong Drama

Actress Park Eun-hye will fly to Hong Kong June 20 to begin the filming of a 30-episode Hong Kong television drama in which she plays the leading lady. Park, who will spend 150 days in Hong Kong, says she is nervous about her new role.

"There are so many things I am worried about ahead of the filming and my upcoming 150-day stay in Hong Kong. I got a bad cold a few days ago, and I am still receiving treatment. I got an injection today as well. I am worried because I have to get better before I leave for Hong Kong", said Park on June 7.

Park has recently emerged as a new "hallyu" star whose popularity in Taiwan is comparable to that of Lee Young-ae's. Television dramas starring Park have become enormously popular in Taiwan and other Chinese-speaking countries, and as a result she was cast to star in the Hong Kong series, receiving star treatment.

"The leading man has yet to be chosen. I will come back after producing some good work", said Park.
