Park Yoo-chun crowned with his 4th Best New Actor award this year

Actor Park Yoo-chun was crowned with his 4th Best New Actor award this year.

Park Yoo-chun was honored to receive Best New Actor award for his role in the film, 'Haemoo' at the 35th Blue Dragon Awards ceremony, which took place in Sejong Cultural Center on December 17th.

Park Yoo-chun went up on the stage and said, "Thank you. I feel overwhelmed because I happen to receive this award right after the ceremony began. I appreciate it sincerely. Doing my first movie, I became to learn that many people have to work so hard to make a film. Thank you for giving me this great award for my first movie".

MC Kim Hye-soo said to Park Yoo-chun, "You accomplished a grand slam with your first movie".

Along with Park Yoo-chun, Kim Woo-bin from 'Friends 2', Ahn Jae-hong from 'The King of Jokgu', Im Si-wan from "The Attorney", and Choi Jin-hyuk from 'The Divine Move' had been nominated for Best New Actor Award.

Park Yoo-chun previously won Best New Actor awards from the 15th Busan Movie Critics Awards, the 34th Korean Movie Critics Association Awards, and the 51st Deajong Awards this year for his role in 'Haemoo'. In the film, 'Haemoo', he gained weight and learned dialect technically to express the emotions of the young sailor's character for his role successfully. He showed great energy by performing well even amongst the charismatic, experienced actors such as Kim Yun-seok.
