On May 23rd, ABO Entertainment confirmed that as of 10:30 AM on that day, "The Roundup: Punishment" now has 10,805,136 admissions at the South Korean box office. This figure now officially pushes the action cop film to 24th place on South Korea's all-time box office. The previous holder of that title, Avatar: The Way of the Water, only earned 10,805,065 over its run at the South Korean box office back in 2022.

"The Roundup: Punishment" now hopes to dislodge "The Host" from 2006 in 23rd place at the South Korean box office. The creature feature earned 10,917,400 admissions at that time. However, "The Roundup: Punishment" may finally be losing momentum, as it was only third place at the box office on Wednesday. It was outperformed by the opening day releases of an Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga and Haikyu!!: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump.
