Policy Data of Film Industry 2005 is issued by the Ministry of Culture & Tourism

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has issued the "Policy Data of Film Industry 2005" which arranged a variety of statistical data related to Korea's film industry.

The "Policy Data of Film Industry", a collection of film-industry-related data, has been issued every year since 1995 when the Film Promotion Act was first enacted in Korea, and it has become easily accessible by anyone who is interested in the film industry of Korea via the homepage of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism since 2004.

In the "Policy Data of Film Industry 2005", the most recent edition, overall issues of the film industry are covered in a total of 21 sectors such as general status, import/export status, movie showing/watching status, and other statistical status.

The latest edition, which includes a variety of data from each provincial/municipal body, and organizations/groups related to the film industry having been well edited for readers, is to be used as a reference to establish a policy to promote the film industry by being distributed to 16 autonomous bodies and organizations related to the industry.

The "Policy Data of Film Industry 2005" is not for sales but anyone can download it in the website of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Korea.
