[Policy] 'Robinson Crusoe' to Be Re-created

Can you find something in common between Movie 'Cast Away', 'LOST' starring actress Kim Yunjin', recently released 'Castaway on the Moon', and game 'Robinson Crusoe Fantasy 2'?
The answer is that story unfolds centering on a desert island.

Inha University WCU (World Class University)'s Digital Story Telling Platform Business Unit hosts 'The 1st Digital Story Telling Competition with Prof. Pierre Levy' July 13-19. The competition is to re-create the adventure of Robinson Crusoe who drifts around a desert island.

With the theme of 'Alone in the World', the competition is attended by middle and high school and university students. Each group consists of 4 participants and creates a story, using Robinson Crusoe as a motif.

Those who want to participate in the competition should submit 10 min creative videos such as UCC, animation (3D, Flash), and documentaries. Spaces for team communities on the web are provided to promote cooperation between team members. Professional juries as well as participants evaluate works created by other participants.

A recommendation system helps individual participants to form a team. For application visit http://dst.inha.ac.kr/. Application should be made between 29th June and 5th July.

The WCU program is designed to attract foreign scholars to promote research power of Korean universities. Its first round of project has been carried out.
