"Private Lives" and "Run On" to Cease Production Due to COVID-19

Seohyun and Go Kyung-pyo's "Private Lives" and Im Si-wan and Shin Se-kyung's "Run On" have ceased production due to a staff's COVID-19 inspection.

According to reports, the new JTBC drama "Private Lives" which is to premiere on the 16th of September, cancelled all production due to a staff on site who has to go through a COVID-19 inspection.

This staff has come from another drama production where there was a positive case of COVID-19. Therefore, for preventive measures, "Private Lives" made such decisions to wait for the staff to get inspected although he or she hasn't been classified to have come in close contact with the infected.

Im Si-wan and Shin Se-kyung's "Run On" also include staff that have come from the drama set where a positive case of COVID-19 has occurred.

"Run On" is also on production hold for the safety of staff and cast. All staff including the staff from the other drama production and from the set of "Run On" have been through tests and are waiting for results.

For the past two days, actors from a theater play including Seo Sung-jong, Heo Dong-won and Kim Won-hae tested positive for COVID-19 and the red light has come on in the showbiz. 15 out of the 39 from the theater company have tested positive for COVID-19 and 19 are waiting for test results.

KBS 2TV dramas "To All The Guys Who Loved Me" and "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol" starring Seo Sung-jong and Heo Dong-won are also on high alert. Seo Yi-sook, Go Ara, Ye Ji-won and Kim Joo-hun have gotten COVID-19 tests.

Meanwhile, actor Oh Man-seok has been in contact with Heo Dong-won's make-up artist 3 days ago and was classified as a 'close contact' and has been tested for the virus. JTBC's "Just Comedy" has been put on hold and the site has been disinfected. The related staff are also currently in quarantine.
