Singer PSY was chosen as the most popular South Korean musician of 2012.
Gallup Korea conducted a survey on over four thousand people aged between 13 and 59 throughout the nation in May, September and November, asking the respondents to name their three favorite singers.
According to the survey, PSY received the most support with 24-point-four percent, topping the list for the first time since he debuted.
Gallup Korea said that PSY was loved by all age groups, but enjoyed more popularity from people in their 30s or older than he did from younger age groups. Respondents in their 40s showed the most support, with 30-point-seven percent saying they like the singer.
Girls' Generation came second with 19-point-eight percent, followed by Big Bang with nine-and-a-half percent.
