Pusan Film Fest to Honor NHK Network

The Pusan International Film Festival yesterday announced the winners of this year's Asian Filmmaker of the Year award and Korean Cinema Award.
Japanese broadcaster NHK won the Asian Filmmaker of the Year Award for its contributions to Asian cinema.
Dieter Kosslick, festival director of the Berlin International Film Festival, and Thierry Fremaux, artistic director of the Cannes Film Festival, won the Korean Cinema Award for their contributions in promoting local movies worldwide.
The awards will be presented during the festival October Oct. 6 to 14 in Pusan, the festival's 10th anniversary.
