Prominent film directors, including Hou Hsiao-hsien of Taiwan, and famous actors and actresses from around the world will visit Pusan during PIFF.

Various additional programs such as a retrospective film about classic Korean actor Kim Seung-ho and an exhibit on the late Taiwanese director Edward Yang, who was selected as this year's Asian filmmaker of the year, are set to be featured.

Advance tickets for PIFF are available from the internet portal site Naver, or from the convenience store "GS25" for 24 hours. Seats can be selected through this service as well. Built-in cell phones will be available to audiences to access real-time "U-PIFF" services for program information.
